The girls decided they wanted to do the voiceover for this one… and honestly, I think they’ve done a better job than me!

We packed SO much into our day at Conkers:

🌳 Low ropes
🎬 4D cinema
🧗‍♀️ Activity trail
🔎 Discovery Centre
🚂 Train ride to another park
🦶 Barefoot walk through pebbles, hay & water
🦢 Pedalo swan + fish spotting
🐛 Bug hunt with Ranger Rachel
💦 Splash pad — where we got VERY wet!

There really is so much to do that you can easily make a full day of it. We loved that there was a mixture of adventure, exploring, learning and plenty of opportunities for the girls to just play and get stuck in 🌿

A couple of tips from us:
🧺 Bring a towel
👕 Pack a change of clothes if you’re doing the barefoot trail/splash pad
💧 Remember to top up your bottles at the hydration station

Meet Bella, Edward and little Felix 🦢

Our swan family now have their names! A special thank you to Salma from Leicester for choosing Bella and Edward.

A huge thank you to everyone else who entered our swan naming competition and donated to Linjoy Wildlife Sanctury and Rescue, helping to support their British wildlife rescue and rehabilitation service.

Our rangers are always keeping a watchful eye over the wildlife, and you can meet the swans up close when you take a ride on our swan pedalos.

Thank you for helping us care for our wonderful wildlife 💚

CONKERS is looking for a Maintenance Manager to help keep our buildings, grounds, equipment, facilities, and train and track running safely and smoothly all year round.

If you have strong maintenance experience, enjoy solving problems and are happy working outdoors in all weathers, we’d love to hear from you.

Mechanical knowledge or experience working with trains would be an advantage!
