Beach mats are down for the summer at Banjo Pier, just in time for a lovely drop of sun. ☀️

Beach mats help people get from the slopes on pavement level to the sand, so they can enjoy the beach 🏖️

It’s nearly time for this years Swanage Pirate Festival! The perfect event to kick off the Bank Holiday weekend and the start of the half term holidays 🎉
Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th May

***UPDATED TIMETABLE***

Due to the *generous* amount of rum consumed, we’ve had to tweak the timetable for Swanage Pirate Weekend… turns out this pirate read the tide times all wrong and nearly sent the whole crew to a watery grave.

Please share the *new* timetable far and wide across the Seven Seas!

Swanage Beach has been awarded Blue Flag status for the 25th year running!

Confirmed as one of England’s top beaches, Swanage in Dorset has been awarded the international Blue Flag award by the environmental charity Keep Britain Tidy, for the 25th year in a row
