Please be vigilant make sure your sheds are locked up.

Witnesses and dashcam footage are sought following a fatal collision in . At around 9am on Tuesday 16 January 2024, a white Ford Transit 100 was travelling along Bartholomew Way towards the roundabout at the junction with Swanley Lane, when it was involved in a collision with a pedestrian near a supermarket.

Our patrols and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene where the pedestrian, a woman in her 50s, was confirmed deceased. A man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and driving whilst under the influence of drugs. He has since been bailed pending further investigation.

Officers from our Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the vehicle beforehand to call the witness appeal line on 01622 798538 or email [email protected] quoting HW/DGC/005/24.

On Friday morning I popped in to Laura Trott MP’s Pension Credits morning. It was great to see so many people checking on their benefits and just making sure they weren’t missing out.

Today I’m back down to Sevenoaks District Council for training on Homelessness and HEROS.

After that I have my first meeting for the Housing and Health Advisory Committee.

Gosh I hope I’m nearly trained up so much information to take in at once but it will be worth it in the end. Information I can use to help the residents of Swanley St Mary’s ward.
