The Poppy Appeal 2025 for our area so far has raised a huge £26,431.68!! Well done to everyone who took part in this year's appeal. This amount will continue to rise in the coming months as more donations come in until the cut-off date at the end of September. Thank you to all the amazing volunteers, in whatever role you did, that contributed to this fantastic amount raised, and to all those people who donated in some other way, THANK YOU. Congratulations to Phil Hunt who guessed the closest to the number of poppies in the jar at Emerson Grange Care Home Christmas market today and won the special edition lapel pin.

The number was 617 which was the Squadron number of the Dam Busters.
