Good healthcare starts with listening. We were pleased to attend the BMA Welsh Council Triennial Event and hear directly from doctors and healthcare professionals about the challenges facing NHS Wales and the changes needed to improve patient care. For people across Gŵyr-Abertawe, this means shorter waiting lists, easier access to GP services, better support for NHS staff, and more care delivered closer to home. These are the priorities we will continue to champion on behalf of our communities.

Roedden ni'n diolchgar iawn i fynychu digwyddiad Triennial BMA Welsh Council er mwyn clywed yn uniongyrchol o ddoctoriaid a gweithwyr proffesiynol amdano heriau sydd yn wynebu GIG Cymru a'r newidiadau sydd angen i wella gofal am gleifion. Am drigolion o gwmpas Gŵyr-Abertawe, golyga hyn rhestri aros byrrach, gwell cefnogaeth am staff GIG, a mwy o ofal wedi'i gyflwyno'n agosach i gartref. Dyma'r blaenoriaethau y bydden ni'n dilyn i wella safonau ar draws ein cymunedau.

Proud to sponsor and attend the Countryside Alliance Awards this week. The farmers of Gŵyr-Abertawe produce some of the finest food in the world and play a vital role in our local economy, communities, and countryside. That’s why I’m pushing for more Welsh produce to be used in our local schools. Supporting local farmers means supporting local jobs, local businesses, and healthier food for our children.

Mumbles by-election candidate,Tricia Sanderson, says that representing Mumbles at the City Council will give her the opportunity to call for solutions to the traffic flow problems and insufficient parking spaces.

John and Safa were out in Mumbles yesterday chatting to local residents about potholes, parking and unclean streets!

Following conversations with some brilliant constituents, I have recently asked the Senedd if the government would considering supporting South Gower Coast as a UNESCO heritage site. This would be amazing for the peninsula's tourism and for protecting our history and culture!
