In May 2026, Wales, Swansea, and Gower decisively elected Plaid Cymru to represent them in the Senedd, with Gŵyr-Abertawe voting to give three of our six seats to Plaid Cymru MSs.
It’s clear that Plaid’s vision of a Wales with free childcare, a sustainable and efficient NHS, a more prosperous economy, and an environment free of pollution, resonated with voters across Swansea and Gower.
Next year’s council elections are just a stone’s throw away, and a strong Plaid Cymru presence on the council would mean Swansea and Gower would reap the rewards of the Plaid Government far quicker. It’s much easier to put our plans into action when we have representation on the council!

Ym Mai 2026, roedd hi’n amlwg taw Plaid Cymru oedd y blaid roedd Cymru, Abertawe, a Gŵyr yn eisiau i’w gynrychioli yn y Senedd, gyda Gŵyr-Abertawe yn rhoi tair o’m chwe sedd i aelodau o Blaid Cymru.
Does dim amheuaeth bod gweledigaeth Plaid Cymru o ofal plant am ddim, GIG cynaliadwy ac effeithlon, economi mwy ffyniannus, ac amgylchfyd heb lygredd, yw’r un sydd yn atseinio ag etholwyr ledled Gŵyr-Abertawe.
Gan fod etholiadau’r cyngor blwyddyn nesaf yn agosáu’n gyflym, mae rhaid sicrhau bod gan Blaid Cymru presenoldeb cryf ar gyngor Abertawe. Mae’n llawer haws troi ein cynlluniau mewn i ganlyniadau os oes gennym ni cynrychiolaeth yn y cyngor! Os oes gennych chi unrhyw ddiddordeb o gwbl sefyll fel cynghorydd yn yr etholiad blwyddyn nesaf, plîs danfona ni neges. Dydyn ni ddim yn becso pe bai chi’n hollol sicr o sefyll neu jyst yn chwilfrydig ac yn eisiau dysgu mwy am y rôl, plîs, plîs, plîs, cysylltwch â ni!
