❤️Craigfelen Primary School – A School at the Heart of Its Community ❤️
Craigfelen Primary School is so much more than a place where children learn — it is a school that believes passionately in the strength, resilience and potential of its whole community. Through the creation of Cwtch Craigfelen and Cwtch Bach, we have built spaces where people can come together, feel supported, share, connect and belong. With the support of grants, Swansea Council, community partners, volunteers, local organisations and so many generous individuals, we have been able to create opportunities, provide practical support, celebrate our community and make a real difference to families throughout the year. But perhaps our greatest achievement is not simply what we have created ourselves; it is the confidence we have helped inspire in others. By working alongside people, listening to their ideas and supporting them to turn those ideas into reality, we have seen new groups, projects and initiatives grow from within our community. We believe in giving people the confidence to lead, the courage to try and the support to succeed. The Cwtch has become a place where everyone has something to contribute and where one good idea can inspire another. This is what makes Craigfelen special — a shared belief that when a school, its families and its community work together, incredible things can happen. We are proud to be helping create a community where people look out for one another, celebrate one another and, most importantly, believe in one another. ❤️
