On Saturday, Parish Councillors led a local litter pick in Freshbrook. Multiple bags of litter were collected making it cleaner for everyone.

Now that the better weather is here, our Mobile Litter Picking Station is making an appearance. Today it has been installed at Shaw Forest car park next to the bins and will be there until Monday morning. So if you're out for a walk why not grab a bag and litter picker - a few minutes picking can make an immediate visual difference!

Join us this coming Monday for the Annual Parish Meeting where you'll have the opportunity to meet your new Parish Councillors. There will be a presentation on the history of West Swindon followed by an update from West Swindon Policing Team. This meeting will be followed by the Annual Parish Council Meeting at 7:30pm.

Today we pause to remember and honour the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of those who fought and endured during the Second World War. VE Day marks the victory in Europe and the return of hope, peace, and freedom to a war-weary continent. As we celebrate, we reflect on the lessons of history and give thanks to those who served. Lest we forget.
