Greenmeadow Primary School Welcome to the official Greenmeadow Primary School page. I am delighted to welcome you to our school Facebook site.. Mrs Mackinnon, Headteacher

We are constantly looking for ways to enable individual children to find their strengths and shine. We recognise that children learn best when their self esteem is high and they have the confidence to work outside their comfort zone. We challenge the children to surprise themselves and achieve what they thought was impossible. On a daily basis we see examples of this both in situations where children achieve something outstanding or rise to a personal challenge which raises the bar on their previous best.

On Friday, the children came home with their bag to school bags - Year6 yours will come home on Monday. We have a collection for after half term but we have sent them out now in case anyone is starting to sort out. This is a great way in which we can raise money for the school so thanks for your help. We will also have a clothes sale before the collection - more info to come. Please can you hold onto your bags for now and return them at the start of T2 - on the Tuesday 3rd or Wednesday 4th. See below for items to collect in blue. No thanks to items in red. Thanks

I would like to pass on a massive THANKS to all the team at Greenmeadow. The children have had a fantastic term built upon progressive lessons and a wide range of enrichment opportunities. Our new FS children have joined us and already it feels like they have been part of the team for along time Amongst the busy weeks, we have had skating & scooting, author talks, discos, football matches, a castle theme day, a reading breakfast, parental welcome meetings, our Year 6 residential and more. Next week we have parent evenings so please do book a slot or let the office know if you need help. All of this doesn't happen by magic - it comes through the commitment and care of the team. Already there are exciting plans for the terms ahead :) I am sure you will share me in a big..
