A special mention this Volunteer’s Week to one of our hardest working volunteers, Alison Wadsworth, who also happens to have her birthday today!

Alison does so much for us, she’s a Trustee, Secretary and IT Buddy among many other roles. We couldn’t manage without her!

Our beautiful little garden is an example of the variety of tasks our volunteers take on for the library.

The beds were designed & planted by a wonderful library customer who offered her time & expertise, and a group of our volunteer library assistants & committee members maintain it.

Thank you to all our volunteers. Whether you are customer facing or behind the scenes; we couldn’t run the library without you.

Thursday in the library is Story and Rhyme time for our little ones, a free story session with books, singing and bubbles!

Volunteers’ Week is the perfect time to thank the volunteers who give up their time to run these lovely sessions, and also the perfect time to ask for help as we’re looking for someone to add to the story time team.

If you have an hour or two to spare on Thursday morning on a rota basis and you’d like to read some stories to a group of tiny tots and their grown ups, please leave a message at the library with your details for Katherine, or email [email protected]
