Wondering if anyone knows anything about the history of the old orchard behind Frith Park?

We have an abundance of apples growing on the old orchard behind Frith Park 🍏🍎
We are looking forward to selling some by the farm gate in a few weeks time.

New ⭐ BBQ edition ⭐ lamb boxes are available to pre-book for mid June!
With more mince and some of the meat pre-seasoned it is the perfect way to prepare for a family feast.
The price will remain the same as our traditional lamb boxes, £15 per kilo for half and £14 per kilo for a full lamb.
We aim for half a lamb box to weigh 10kg.
The boxes will be professionally prepared and seasoned by small family butchers in Edenbridge. The meat will be fresh at the collection and can be frozen afterwards.
Our traditional boxes ( in the picture) are also available.

🐑 Lamb boxes available to order for Easter from our small family farm in Walton On The Hill, Surrey 🐑

Our first orders for March filled up quickly so we now have some more availability for April.

The boxes will be professionally prepared by small family butchers in Edenbridge.
Half lamb box will be £150 or whole lamb £280.

The collection will be on the same day as we collect the boxes from the butchers as we haven't got facilities to store the boxes.
The meat will be fresh and can be frozen afterwards.

We requested a pre booking as soon as possible please to confirm the numbers to the abattoir.

Would anyone from the Walton On The Hill or Tadworth areas like to take over the Admin of this page? As I no longer live in the area I wonder if a "local' may take it on. I noticed posts and requests that I had not acknowledged for months (Sorry!) So may be a good idea to hand it over as there are 500+ group contacts / viewers!

I lived in this village throughout my formative years. It shaped me and was a major part in making the 'man' I am today. There were so many influences in the place. The beauty of the surrounding countryside (plum pud, the area around lovelands house, the ponds, the golf course) and of course the people, neighbours and friends - Tim(my) Muir, my mate for so many years - sorry I neglected that friendship when I left home - the gorgeous church (I was in the choir for a while!). The boys brigade (so much better than the scouts!), I will always have a fondness for the place. Recent visits show a much more 'modern' village is in as much as more a residence than a way of life but it is still a wonderful place. I'd love to move back but.... too expensive now. Those who do live there should treasure what they have and strive to keep it a village rather than an expensive escape. Other memories: walks to collie hill or Headley. Caddying, Monties shop, My 1st moped from Stevens (?), gat-guns, the phoenix club, better stop now as this could become a book! Please, can those that live there now keep it a village that we that lived there before will still recognise (we'll always love it!). Oh, and thanks for visiting this page, hopefully you like the content and will keep the traditional village values alive...
