Hi everyone. Quick running update on the total raised by our charity sponsored swim,supporting Caitlin Rose Trust and Birmingham Children hospital, with one sponsor amount to be declared but you amazing lot have raised (so far) for our designated charities at whopping £6,153!!!!! Final total will be declared shortly with all proceed split evenly between the charities. The 36 swimmers swam at total of 110,700m averaging 3,075 metres each. The distance is the English Channel swim 3.2 times or 2.6 London Marathons! So proud of the swimmers achievements and everyone’s efforts on this. What a brilliant group!! Proud coach. I’ll update again when the final total is in and will be putting an article together with the photo for the Tamworth herald. Well done everyone - amazing effort 🙌😁👍👍👍💪🏊🏻‍♂️🤯🏅

Good evening all - it’s one week until we return to swimming starting 19th April. We are expecting the COVID measures previously in place to remain the same. There will be no badge assessments for the remainder of the Friday block or the new block on Monday starting on the 19th April. I will text all for whom new block payment is due in the next few days. Hard copies of the new dates diaries will be given out at swimming. As usual happy to answer any questions you have. 😁🏊‍♀️👍

Good evening everybody - we hope you are all well? We have heard from the leisure centre and it’s looks like, providing the rules do not change, that we can resume swimming Monday 7-8pm and Friday 6:30-7:30pm from the week commencing 19th April. We will issue new dates for diaries closer to the time and assessments will be on hold for the block until the swimmers get going again.
