Good morning.
As many of you may know, on Saturday 22nd August, our preschool suffered a devastating loss. Our lovely practitioner, Emma Sherwin Robinson , tragically passed away following a short illness. She was just 41.
Emma was not just a colleague; she was a friend and a valued and much-loved member of our little preschool family and wider community. She will be deeply missed by us all.
We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has sent their condolences, kind words and offers of support. We have found much comfort in your kindness during this incredibly difficult time.
We know the coming weeks are going to be challenging, but we will face them together with strength and dignity as we reopen our doors next week to the children’s smiling faces.
Many people have asked how they can help and when they can pay their respects. Emma’s funeral and celebration of life will take place on Tuesday 8th September at 2pm at Tarvin Church, followed by refreshments at The George and Dragon, Tarvin.
Emma’s family and close friends will then attend the burial service privately.
A JustGiving page has also been set up in Emma’s memory to offer support to her daughter as she begins to navigate life without her mum by her side. I will add the link in the comments for anyone who would like to make a donation; there is no requirement or pressure at all to donate, but many have asked for it to be shared.
Once again, thank you to everyone for your kindness, support and understanding. It is greatly appreciated by us all.
