We have two hearing aids that have been found….one found on the floor in our office, and one on the pavement outside. They belong to separate people, as they are different styles. If anyone has lost one, please get in touch. 😊

😊 Quick Update for Our Customers 😊

Just a little heads-up that from today, our cut-off time for the last collection from inside the Post Office counter is now 4:40pm.

Anything handed in after this time will be included in the next working day’s collection.

📮 Post box collections remain at 5:00pm as normal (although this may change in the future, and we’ll keep you updated if it does).

📣 Important Update for Our Customers 📣

You may or may not be aware that the Royal Mail sorting office on the High Street in Tarporley will be closing with effect from Saturday 25th April.

From this date, all mail will be sorted and delivered from Royal Mail on Weston Road in Crewe, CW1 6AR (by the same Tarporley team) and any collections will also take place from there.

We would like to make it clear that this decision has been made by Royal Mail, and the Post Office is a completely separate company. We have had no involvement in this change and it is entirely beyond our control.

We do understand this may cause some inconvenience and would appreciate your patience and kindness towards myself and my team at the Post Office during this transition.

Please also note that due to extremely limited space within our branch, we will be unable to accept large volumes of redirected mail.

If you have any questions, feel free to pop in and speak to us — we’ll always do our best to help where we can.

Striking photographs of the late Queen Elizabeth II are captured on eight new stamps commemorating the 100th anniversary of her birth, each focusing on a different period in her life.

This beautiful set is available on Tuesday 21 April.

We currently have a very limited supply of presentation packs, however we do have plenty of stamps. We will be receiving more presentation packs w/c 27th April.

Post Office update - Lloyds banking group & cheque deposits

From 1 January 2026, Lloyds Banking Group (which includes LLOYDS, HALIFAX & BANK OF SCOTLAND) no longer offer cheque deposit services at Post Office branches.

If you need to deposit a cheque you can:

- use your app
- take it to your bank
- post it (standard envelope or for added security by tracked post) to :

If you have any questions about this change, please contact your bank directly.

Cash deposits and balance enquiries are not impacted and are still available services in all post office branches.

I cannot quite believe that we have completed another December!!! Thank you to each and every person who has waited so patiently to be served and continued to support us, both in our Post Office and our shop, it really means a lot!
