🌿🌼 Thank you to all the children and grown ups who came along this morning for the planting session in our outside garden and the flower craft in the library. Everyone made some beautiful paper flowers and then planted some herb seeds in pots they'd decorated. Keep a look out for more garden activities at Priorswood Library in the autumn. 🤩🌱

Thank you for joining us on Monday for our final Craft event of the summer holidays! You made some fantastic castanets!

Don’t panic though - we have 3 more events this week to keep the children busy! Tomorrow (Wednesday) we have a garden planting activity in the morning and a ‘playground games’ activity in the afternoon! On Thursday we will have our Digital Explorers morning where you can come and try out VR, 3D colouring and the Switch!

We can’t wait to see you!

Thank you for joining us for Craft and Switch yesterday. The craft was a little trickier than we imagined but everyone showed perseverance and made some amazing paper windmills! (Well done parents/carers too!)

Our final Craft and Switch event of the summer holidays will be on next Monday 24th August. We hope to see you there!

Another date to add to your diary for the children!
In addition to our other summer events, we will have Everyone Active joining us on Wednesday 26th August for a 'playground games and activities' session from 2.30-3.30pm. This will take place in our new outside area, weather permitting!
Do pop along for some light activity at this FREE event 🏃👟

🥳Digital Explorers is back this summer holiday! Pop along to Priorswood Library on the 27th August from 10:30am - 12:30pm. Investigate some of our digital equipment and stay and play on the Nintendo Switch. Can you beat our very own Melissa at Mario Kart? We look forward to seeing you there! 🏎️🏆

Thanks to all who joined us on Monday for our second craft and Switch event of the summer holidays. We had a mix of craft options available and you all made fantastic creations!

Our next craft and Switch event will be next Monday (17th). We hope to see you there!

🪴🌻We are hoping to get out into our lovely library garden on the 26th August for a FREE planting activity (weather permitting). There will also be wildlife craft available inside the library in case it rains! We look forward to seeing you there! ☔😎

Here is another fun activity for children to get involved in over the summer! Somerset Council, in partnership with SUEZ and Biffa, are running a short story writing competition for 4-11 year olds. There are some fantastic prizes up for grabs!

🐍🕷🪳On Tuesday we had the amazing Garwynn and team visit the library with his reptiles and bugs. It was great to see so many of you at this fantastic event. A huge thank you to Friends of Taunton Library for funding this experience - it is very much appreciated. A big thanks also to Garwynn, Steph and Dave for sharing their beautiful animals with us and teaching us all about them. We look forward to seeing you at the library again soon.🐍🕷🪳 GRAB
