Going away in May?

With 3 bank holiday weekends this year and half term at the end the month, May is great time to get away. If you need some extra space for your trip we still have good availability for most weekends.

Our 580 litre XXL boxes will carry the equivalent of 19 sleeping bags, which is about the same as the amount of luggage for a family of 4.

Box hire starts at £80, and if you also need to hire roof bars we can fit to almost any vehicle that has existing roof rails with prices starting at £110. If you have a vehicle with “fix points” or recessed rails please get in touch to confirm compatibility.

Easter Bookings!

Are you going away this Easter? Do you need some extra space? Roofbox bookings are filling up fast for the school holidays around Easter so please get in touch soon.

We are also starting to get busy around the Whitsun half term school holiday at the end of May, and other May bank holiday are also booking up.

Summer holidays in July and August are still ok at the moment but we expect them to start filling up in the next few weeks.

We have moved!

Taunton Roof Box Hire would like to announce that we have recently moved from Bishops Lydeard to Sampford Brett in West Somerset. For some customers this will mean slightly longer travel times for collections and returns.

As we are no longer as near to Taunton, we will soon be renaming our business to West Somerset Roof Box Hire. We aim to continue to provide a quality service from our new location and look forward to welcoming back our customers, old and new.

Please note that we are booking up fast for the following dates, so if you need to hire a roof box this year please get in touch as soon as possible to reserve your roof box.

Coronavirus Update: 1st November 2020.

Due to proposed lockdown restrictions in England, we will be closed for collections and returns between Thursday 5th November and Wednesday 2nd December 2020.

We are still taking bookings from Thursday 3rd December onwards. Collections and returns are strictly by appointment only and contact-free options are available.
