Reform Taunton and Wellington are saddened to learn of the proposal to close Swallowfield in Wellington, which employs 259 people. Our thoughts are with all those who may be affected by the proposal.
Reform Taunton and Wellington branch will always stand by businesses of all sizes, and those employed within them, within our local community and will always support them in any way we can. We believe a strong local economy is a top priority.

Thank you to everyone who voted today, and those who supported us at the polling station, out on the doorstep, and behind the scenes. Congratulations to Gareth Williams on his success.

We are thrilled with our result tonight, as a new party who have never campaigned in Wellington before, we put up a great fight and couldn’t be more proud of our members and supporters, and fantastic candidate, Andy Denison.

To once again achieve 100 votes more than the Conservative and Labour Party combined, we are proud of the progress we are making in Taunton and Wellington.
