Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along:
Washford Hill - from the junction with Five Bells to the junction with Smithyard Lane.
A total distance of 487 metres.
This Order will enable Openreach to carry out cabling works.
The Order becomes effective on 02nd September 2026 and will remain in force for eighteen
months. The works are expected to commence on 8th September 2026 and last until 9th
September 2026 between the hours of 18:30 - 23:00 for a total of 2 evenings.
