17th March 2026 from 1pm until 3pm at Edgar Hall Somerton

Hosted by the RCPA, colleagues of the NHS Somerset ICB, Somerset Foundation Trust, Somerset GP Support Unit and Maldaba Ltd will be attending to talk about Annual Health Checks in Somerset.

The key aim of the session is to outline the importance of AHCs for people with a LD.

We will discuss the wider context and evidence base behind AHCs; provide an update on the Maldaba pilot project (which is testing out a digital tool to improve the quality and uptake of AHCs); and discuss the available support from the Somerset FT LD community liaison team.

There will also be an opportunity for Q&A.

All providers across all services are welcome and encouraged to attend.
