Taunton & Wellington Conservatives

Taunton & Wellington Conservatives Promoted by Somerset Conservatives of Unit 1 Heritage Courtyard, Sadler Street, Wells, BA5 2RR.

Serving Taunton Deane residents is our number one priority at both local and national levels. On Thursday 7 May 2015, the people of Taunton Deane elected Rebecca Pow to represent them in parliament as the new constituency MP. As a vibrant and active local association, we rely on volunteers to help campaign across the constituency and we welcome people’s views on local and national issues.

That's the independent verdict on Somerset Council's financial management after four years of Liberal Democrat control.

We should have the confidence to celebrate our country and everything it has contributed to the world. Patriotism is not something to apologise for.

Britain’s history is filled with extraordinary achievements - from our democratic institutions and scientific breakthroughs to the values of fairness, freedom, and resilience that continue to shape our society today.

A big shout out to Town Councillor Cllr Giuseppe Fraschini who has taken on the responsibility of forcing Somerset Council to act in improving measures at Stoney Furlong and keeping residents regularly updated.

Although not a county councillor, he has filled the gap where the local Lib Dem councillors have failed over recent years to secure this site.

Only when the local community said enough is enough after 3 consecutive years of encampments have the Lib Dem councillors paid any interest.
