🌟A fantastic final ‘Celebration Assembly' this week before we break up for 1/2 term!🌟

Children received awards in the following areas: Headteacher's Award, TT-Rock Stars, Reading Rainbow, Outstanding Presentation, Swimming/Horse Riding, 500 and 1000 House Points Award! 👏

We also celebrated Year 6, for their fantastic determination and focus during SATs week. 👏

A great afternoon spent at the WW2 Nissen Hut in Smeatharpe!

Badgers enjoyed consolidating their learning and looking at so many interesting artefacts. We even took the bus up to the old runway and imagined we were the D-Day paratroopers taking off on their mission.

Earlier on, we had also spent the morning at school learning more about rationing and finishing our ‘Make Do and Mend’ projects.

Thanks for all your efforts with the amazing 1940s costumes - we thought they looked fantastic.

An excellent first day for all of our Year 6 children, who are taking their SATs tests this week!

🌟Another fantastic 'Celebration Assembly' this week!🌟

Children received awards in the following areas: Headteacher's Award, TT-Rock Stars, Reading Rainbow and Outstanding Presentation.

Our value this term is compassion. This is an extremely strong area for our school as all of children are supportive and kind when faced with challenges. Throughout the assembly the children gave multiple examples of when and where they have shown compassion.

Huge excitement across the school yesterday as our new Badger’s class room was placed in.

Many improvements across the school are now in place and will be shared soon. We also have a number of other projects being planned to exploit our wonderful school grounds, which will also be shared.
