SLING MEET IS ON TOMORROW!

To book just message us!

This is so I can tailor what to bring. We have slings to suit tiny newborns to 7 year olds and some carriers we bring some months just aren’t needed.

When you message us tell us how old squish is, what size clothes, a little bit about your build and if there’s a particular carrier of style you would like me to bring

This can half the amount of carriers Emily has to pull up the hill and safe her a lot of discomfort with her dodgy hip and foot while she has a long recovery!

We’re back again guys with this lovely lot at 76!

Make sure you message me if you require a fitting, support or hire. I’ll be only brining what is needed from now on to save my back so I must know at least 24 hours on what to bring! Next month there will possibly be a booking system in place so I know more in advance to speed things up!

🐣 Fri 10th - we’ll have easter crafts available for not-so-littles as well as our usual play space. Come and chat to us about feeding your older baby/toddler/child!

💚 Mon 20th - buggy/sling walk around the Meadows (weather dependant!)

Tavi Sling Meet is on TOMORROW!

We will be packing light so if you want to try or hire something drop me a message or a comment below and we will make sure it comes with us (but we will bring a good selection either way!)

We must be finished and packed by 11:30 so please make sure you’re arriving for support by 11 if you want to be seen!

For those travelling from further north Bideford is still not able to run due to venue flooding so this will be the only group meet this month.

What’s on in March ✨

It’s busy!

💛 There is the Sling Library Tavistock Sling Library meet this month, on Monday the 9th - our mums group will be running alongside!

🌷 We have a Mothers’ Day session on Friday 13th with photo opportunities, memory making and sweet treats

🙏 On Monday 16th we have a women’s health session with local Osteopath, Antonia from Tamar Valley Osteopathy, and a guided stretch

💚 And on Monday 30th we are organising a (weather dependant!) buggy walk!

We’ll be celebrating the award of our National Lottery funding on Friday 6th Feb 🥳

🌈 Tavistock Sling Meet Info 🌈

Due to the new Tavistock venue being closed this month we can’t run the meet in January. In February it is my smallest one’s birthday and we’re off away!

Come March you will find us at our new venue (76) in Tavistock at a new time!

If you need in person support I will be offering one to one consultations at my home for a reduced price, online support and hires will also be available. Slings can be returned via post or to my home. I don’t live in Tavistock though.

🌈 ONLINE 🌈

Due to a few weeks off and chaos of Christmas and birthdays there is a lot of work to be done! All Lenny orders have been placed my end and will be posted straight to you from lenny to speed things up as they where also closed a lot of Christmas and new years.

There are SO many sling returns, emails and messages I’m going to start going through today. There has been two messages through my website I am unable to reply to this morning as the emails given are incorrect or gmail accounts are full so if your waiting on a reply for a Lenny carrier colour to be uploaded give me a message here.

But we are back open for postal hires and online support so if you need something drop me a message!
If you have messaged me here I’ll be answering over the next few days. If you haven’t heard from me by Friday give me a poke!

☃️ IMPORTANT TAVISTOCK UPDATE ☃️

❄️ RETURNS AND BOOKED CARRIERS ONLY - this will be an informal meet with no carrier selection to try. If you have a carrier to return you can pop along or return via post.

If you know exactly what you want to borrow message us this weekend and I will bring it along and get you all set up on the hire system and payment taken! Or we can chat online and help you figure out the best one for you before the sling meet.

❄️ VENUE AND TIME CHANGE - We are trialing a new venue on Monday with what we hope is a better time for school pickups. You will find us at 76 at 76 west street with mama to mama social group between 10:30-11:30 in the upstairs room. It has a nice area for small ones to play and buggy parking downstairs. You’re welcome to come along and just say hi and check it out!

If you have a carrier on hire you’ll get an email this weekend asking if you wish to renew, return or exchange!

Phew!! What a crazy 48 hours!!

I was blocked on Facebook (they found me not guilty) so there’s A LOT to catch up on today!!

We also had a Tavi sling meet but also Bideford sling meet where we saw around 23 families! Some for fittings, some for hires and some for returns! So what went on hire?

We are here! But we understand if you don’t want to come in this torrential rain!
