The Summer Book Quest: Mission to Wayfarer Island kicks off on Saturday 11th July.
Over the holidays, children read books, earn stickers, and take part in activities, all at their own pace ☺
It's a fun way to keep children reading over summer and build their confidence along the way.

Out Loud in Libraries is a series of LGBTQ+ live poetry nights taking over libraries across Devon this July!! 🏳️‍🌈 🌞

🗓️ An evening of spoken-word poetry that’s heartfelt, hilarious, thoughtful and fun. Featuring 3 incredible poets - silly wordsmith Chris White .poet, Bard of Exeter Casey Garfield , and Sonia Thakurdesai .not.sonia - PLUS a chance for you to get involved with our Devon Limerick Competition!

🎟️ Tickets: £4 for Library members, £6 for non-members, 18+ only

There’s high demand for our 10 most wanted titles, and many eager customers are waiting to borrow them. We’ve purchased as many copies as our budget allows, but if you’re able to help, we’d be truly grateful.

If you have a pristine copy, you’ve finished reading - whether it’s one you bought yourself or received as a gift - you can donate it at any library in Devon or Torbay. We’ll add it to our collection to help reduce the waiting list.
