Telford Town Park is a large park, occupying 1.7 square kilometres of land adjacent to Southwater Square and Telford Shopping Centre in Telford, Shropshire, England. The park offers multiple play areas, fishing pools, bike hire, nature trails, extensive grassed areas as well as the 'Maxell Cherry Gardens', which are a popular place for people to sit and relax. Get ready to dance, laugh and make some fantastic family memories at Dancerella in the Park! ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ•บ๐ŸŒณ

Join us on Saturday 5 September 2026 from 11.30am to 12.15pm at the QEII Arena in Telford Town Park for a FREE outdoor dance experience that's all about having fun together.

Follow simple, feel good dance moves, enjoy colourful props and get active as a family. Thereโ€™s no choreography to remember and no dance experience needed, just come along and join in!

This fun filled session is designed to boost wellbeing, encourage movement and bring people together, with plenty of opportunities to smile, laugh and have fun as a group.

Everyone is welcome, including children, parents, carers and grandparents. Movements can be adapted for different ages and mobility levels, making this a great activity for mixed age families and ability groups.

Due to thunderstorms forecast for the area and changing weather conditions, there will be no balloon activity this evening.

Safety is always our top priority, and the conditions are not suitable for flying.

Over the course of the weekend, we were delighted to see the skies above Telford filled with colour, with two morning balloon launches and two spectacular parachute displays taking place for visitors to enjoy ๐Ÿช‚

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this year's Telford Balloon Fiesta such a fantastic event. We hope you've enjoyed the sights, entertainment and unforgettable moments throughout the weekend.

Today's activities (Sunday 30 August) include the Carnival Parade at 12.30pm and The Wings Parachute Display Team jumping into the arena at 12 noon. You'll also find live music, family activities, food and drink, displays, and market traders throughout the day.

It's a very soggy start to the day, and unfortunately the weather has grounded The Wings Parachute Display Team's planned 12pm jump โ˜”

Due to the heavy rain and poor conditions, the team will not be making their scheduled jump at 12pm today.

We know this is disappointing, but the safety of both the team and our visitors is always the top priority. The team will be monitoring conditions throughout the day and is hoping to make their display at around 5pm, weather permitting. ๐Ÿคžโœˆ๏ธ

Don't let the rain dampen your spirits though. Pull on your wellies, grab your waterproofs and come along anyway. There's still plenty going on across the site, with entertainment, food, attractions and lots of family fun throughout the day.

Today's Balloon Fiesta activities are underway from 12noon and includes a day full of great entertainment starting with the The Wings Parachute Display Team jumping into the arena at 12noon and also live music, family activities, food & drink, and market traders.

We weren't sure whether it was going to get off the ground, and there were a few moments when we thought the forecast might completely blow our plans away...

But we're delighted to say the balloons
