EXCITING NEWS!! ⛹️🎾⚽

Tenbury Town Council is pleased to announce that it has secured funding through Malvern Hills District Council to convert one of the tennis courts to a Mulit-Use-Games- Area (MUGA).

A MUGA court is a single, enclosed outdoor sports pitch marked with lines for many differnt games such as 5-a-side football, basketball, pickleball and tennis.

This will provide a versatile sporting facility for all ages.

Work will commence on Monday 10th August on the third tennis court next to The Burgage.

Kyre Bridge refurbishment complete!

After 12 weeks of work, the refurbishment of Kyre Bridge and the adjacent footbridge in the centre of Tenbury Wells has now been completed.

The project included measures to protect the surrounding environment and wildlife, the careful management of historic lead paint, and specialist repairs to the bridge's unique wrought iron, stone and brick structure.

Delivered by Worcestershire County Council, Jacobs, Ringway, Nu-Weld Engineering and Headway Traffic Management, the scheme represents an important investment in maintaining Worcestershire's highway infrastructure.

🌞 Bin Collections Starting Earlier Due to Hot Weather 🌞

Due to the expected very warm weather, all bin collections will begin from 6am for the remainder of this week.

♻️ Please ensure your bins and sacks are placed at your usual collection point by 6am so our crews can access them safely and complete their rounds.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Our team will review the situation on Friday and assess whether these earlier start times will need to continue next week. We will provide an update if any further changes are required.
