**UPDATED**
For more than 40 years, Cerium has lived by a core value to "treat every customer like they are our only customer." This enduring value guides us as we face the difficult challenge of responding to the coronavirus (COVID-19).
We confirm that we are following the current guidance from government and local health authorities.
Our manufacturing site remains online and will continue to do unless advised otherwise by the government or we take a decision to further protect our staff. Customers may see extended lead times for their orders and we may take longer to answer any phone calls as all office staff will be, from today 30th of March working remotely until further notice.
During the coronavirus outbreak, our focus is on the safety and well-being of our employees, who are vitally important to support you and your business, as well as the communities where we operate. Our second primary area of concern is the safety and continued service of our customers.
In response to COVID-19 we have implemented a number of actions, including:
• Instituting guidelines to limit virus spread and keep our employees healthy.
• Providing ongoing and transparent communications for our employees regarding our continuity plans and new preventive measures.
• Manufacturing will remain online but with increased social distancing measures
• As our employees interact with customers and the general public, we have taken steps to limit exposure to the virus. We have put restrictions on travel, postponed large-scale events, limited the size of meetings, provided remote-work solutions, and continue to reinforce safe behaviour in every environment
• We are in continuous communication with our employees reminding them about the importance of good hygiene, providing them with health education and support whenever needed. Employees who feel ill have been told to not report to work and we have specific quarantine and communication procedures in place should an employee be diagnosed with COVID-19 or is asked to self-isolate by a public health authority
