Had these road markings added to Underhill near the playground. I have witnessed a few people driving to fast past this blind spot right next to the play area and hopefully this will remind people to slow down.

Could I also take this opportunity to ask people to please not park and/or drop off children at this section as it is for deliveries only.

Kind regards

CCTV at Langland Bay🎥
Great news we have had the all clear to fit CCTV on Langland Bay car parks. Hopefully this will help stop dangerous driving and anti social behaviour late in to the evening at Langland. Unfortunately we can not afford to put the CCTV on the prom section at this time but hopefully something for the near future.

This was funded by previous councillor Francesca O'Brien MS, Cllr Angela O’Connor Mumbles and myself's( Cllr William Thomas - Mumbles, Swansea) community budgets.

Kind regards

It is a huge honour and privilege to have been reappointed as Chair of Mumbles Community Council for another year.🎊🥳

Mumbles is more than just where I live — it’s the place I grew up, the place my family calls home, and somewhere I genuinely believe is one of the best communities anywhere. From our coastline and parks to our local businesses, sports clubs, events and community spirit, we are incredibly lucky to live in such a special part of the world.
I take this role extremely seriously and will continue doing my very best to represent everyone in our community, from every background, every age group and every part of Mumbles. Whether it’s major projects, improving facilities, supporting events, helping local groups, or even the smaller day-to-day issues that can make a real difference to people’s quality of life — I want to keep pushing forward and helping improve our village for everyone. ❤️

There is so much happening across Mumbles at the moment and so much to be excited about. I’m proud of what we are achieving together and I’m genuinely optimistic about the future of our community. 🙏

A huge thank you to my fellow councillors, council staff, local organisations, volunteers and residents for your continued support — and of course thank you to my fellow councillors for voting me back in as Chair… well, the majority of them anyway! 😜

Kind regards,

Cllr Will Thomas
County Councillor for Mumbles &
Chair of Mumbles Community Council

While national politics quite rightly takes centre stage today, I’ll be keeping busy focusing on the local issues that matter to Mumbles every single day — delivering projects, supporting residents, and getting things done for our community.
