Reminder for the children in Key Stage 2 who are at cross country tomorrow:

Please arrive at school in PE kit with school uniform (and shoes) in a bag to change into afterwards. Please also bring a fruit snack, waterproof coat and wear warm sports kit! 🏃‍♀️🏃

Year One and Two had a fantastic time with their Fire of London workshop today. We worked as team to make wattle walls and then mixed mud, straw and water to make the daub. It was a messy job and we were all pretty muddy! Our next challenge was to make a new bakery for Thomas Farriner that would keep him dry if it rained. The children harnessed their creativity and all managed to create a watertight bakery.

Just a reminder to all the Year 1 and 2 parents to make sure that your children come into school in their waterproof, wellies and lots of layers and warm clothes ready for our Fire of London Workshop tomorrow. Please bring school uniform and shoes in a named bag so they have something warm and dry to change into.

Years 3 and 4 had a super morning in Ripon, despite the rain showers- nothing a few biscuits couldn't remedy! They identified many river features during our walk, collected data and completed sketches along the way.

We are looking forward to our Year 3/4 Geography fieldwork morning tomorrow!

Please can children wrap up warm with hats, gloves, scarves, a waterproof coat, waterproof trousers (if you have them) and sensible shoes that can get muddy (walking boots/wellingtons).

Please can children bring in their school shoes to change into after our trip. Thank you!😃 🏞
