Thirsk Community Library Since April 2017 Thirsk Community Library is a charity run by volunteers, with support from North Yorkshire County Council.

Due to Covid our opening hours vary depending on whether we are in a lockdown or not but we have remained open throughout. Check our website for opening hours:

We are really looking forward to taking part in the Bookmarked Festival in Thirsk on 11th to 13th September. There will be 24 events in the town, 4 of them in Thirsk Community Library. Check out the booking arrangements with Rural Arts. This is the start of a year of creative events with lots for everyone.
