Rawcliffe Parish Council Notice

The Parish Council wishes to inform residents that large amounts of water have recently been taken from the cemetery supply without authorisation. This misuse has resulted in a significant cost to the taxpayer.

In response, the Council is taking immediate measures to prevent further loss. This includes the temporary disconnection of the water supply to the first tap within the cemetery.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause to visitors who use the water respectfully for grave maintenance. Further steps will be considered if necessary to protect public resources.

📢 Invitation to Tender – Cemetery Works

Rawcliffe Parish Council is inviting suitably qualified contractors to tender for works at the parish cemetery.

Scope of works includes:
• Reinforced concrete works
• Path construction and improvements
• Associated groundworks and finishing

Contractors should have proven experience in similar projects and be able to deliver high-quality work in a respectful setting.

Notice of Postponement of Parish Council Meeting

Please be advised that the Parish Council meeting originally scheduled for 22 April 2026 at 7pm has been postponed.

The meeting will now take place on:

This decision has been made due to unforeseen circumstances.
