These little beauties came in a couple of days ago, 4 adorable Housemartins. Sadly this year there has been a massive decline in Housemartins so it’s even more important that these babies make it! I’m feeding them every 2 house from 6am-10pm and boy can they eat! We are getting through over 100 waxworks a day🙈 we are self funded but we really appreciate any help, we have set up a amazon list, if you would like to help it would be massively appreciated.

I’ve had a lovely morning at the local hedgehog rescue, I’m voulenteering so I can get some experience. So many poorly hogs! They do such an amazing job 🙂 🦔🦔🦔🦔🦔🦔🙂

On a happier note, the woodpecker has now gone free! It was well rested, fit and rearing to go..............so much so that it was too fast for my rubbish camera skills ☺️

Update: Sadly our little sparrow chick didn’t make it, it passed away last night. We gave it a chance when many wouldn’t, rest easy little one ❤️

Meet our newest baby! Named Chick Astley by its rescuer because it hasn’t given up. This little one was rescued by a lovely lady all the way in Crowle, she looked after the little one overnight and throughout the day until she was able to find someone to help, she has done a wonderful job in keeping it alive! I really hope it makes it but it really is tiny, so massive🤞

After a few days rest in a quiet space indoors and lots of food the woodpecker is now outside in the aviary. He is still a bit wobbly but seems to be improving everyday, such a beautiful bird!

Our first guest, a Green Woodpecker. This poor little thing was taken to our local vet with concussion, after a thorough check from the vet this little beauty is now resting and recouping with us!

Please share *****Wind is not a nests best friend! Nests are vulnerable in this awful wind so please keep an eye out. Seek help and advice if you come across a nest on the ground 🙂

***please like our page*** Hello everyone 😊 we are busy making the final preparations so we are able to help our local wildlife. We should be fully up and running in a few days now. With us being a small self funded concern, we are limited to how many rescues we can accept but are working closely with other rescues, which has already been a blessing. Please feel free to share ☺️
