1 0 Y E A R S - an architectural project with ecology at its heart. It’s been a brave journey with so much energy poured into it. We’ve been quiet for a while as things have been “off the chart” busy. With being placed on American soil. We just shot the product out in Georgia in the parks and on Jekyl Island. With the talented - the reveal will happen soon. I hope it bamboozles you. That’s the aim. Our Cornwall site is ready for you. We kicked off our season with testing their new generation wetsuits and our surf breaks. With legends like to name a few. Followed by back to back full site hires with delightful clients. Our tipis went up early for you beds adorned in - keep your eyes open for £100.00 a night tipi stays. We have a new public sauna that sits 10 a setting. T A S C H E N - “MODERN TREEHOUSES“ written by is the Cornish word for “hideout,” Kudhva is a remote retreat set in the rugged remnants of an abandoned slate quarry in North Cornwall, England. Founded in 2016 by designer Louise Middleton, the getaway is a collaboration with architect Ben Huggins, who designed striking three-legged angular pods crafted from larch, glass, and galvanized steel. Scattered across the quarry and accessible via fern-lined paths, the structures were built by boat-builder-turned-furniture-maker Toby Sharp with a small team of master craftspeople, then assembled in a nearby workshop and craned onto their bases. Each asymmetrical pod features a cozy mezzanine bunk designed for two, with ample space for seating below. Guests are treated to sweeping views of willow forests or the dramatic expanse of the Celtic coastline. Triangular windows, strategically placed along a solar arc, capture both sunrise and sunset, bathing the interiors in natural light and enhancing the tranquil ambiance created by the simple wooden walls. Entirely off grid, the retreat is powered by solar energy and committed to sustainable, eco-friendly practices, ensuring minimal impact on the environment.

M O M E N T S - life is a dance & some times it just flows beyond perfection into another realm - so fluid, so perfect so dreamy. The trick is to know when to hold the reins & direct & when to let go. It takes wisdom & experience & a willingness to let all potential in. First you have to build the “container” the perfect palette & then you drop everything in. All for the depiction of an “ESSENCE”. There’s MATURATION in these moves. Early summer days in our locality. We waited for the weather, we did our research, we storyboarded then we executed a dream. A. MOMENT IN TIME. Never to be repeated . NEVER forgotten.

M I G H T A S W E L L H A V E T H E B E S T X collaboration. Hands down these boots are the best. I’m such a big fan of both brands - I’ve been wearing for the last 25 years since my mid 20s - so I’m a good one to comment. we wear things rough & tough a former abandoned slate quarry now a landscape hotel. The land requires in on the daily. Nothing else will do. I’ve tried. Dry, comfortable all day feet that look good is a “hard to find”. - well …… long service wear is a legacy to humanity.
