Yesterday's den builders took on the challenge of building their very own unique shelters and they smashed it! Here's just a small selection of what they created.

Sound like something you'd like to join? We still have spaces for our den building for families sessions on Thursday 20th August | 1pm-2pm and 2:30pm-3:30pm.

Kicking off the summer holidays with yesterday's nature explorers session!

We watched the bees busy at work digging in the paths 🐝, and found grasshoppers🦗, ladybirds🐞, butterflies🦋, beetles 🪲and more. Then we created some natural paint and paintbrushes, and used it to have a go at crafting some cool creatures.

There's still time to join us for the next nature explorers session: Thursday 13th August.

The summer holidays are only a week away ☀️. That means it's time to book onto some den building and nature exploring fun here at Tiptree Heath! 🌱

Yesterday's Wild Wanderers session we:
🌱Looked at the three different types of heather (and enjoyed many flowers around the reserve)
🕷️Admired some intricate spider funnel webs
🐦‍⬛Enjoyed hearing the chiff chaffs, house martins and spotting some fledgling robins
🐝And noticed many busy bees and wasps in and out of their burrows
