Beth and Jerry from Sky End have lost their elderly rescue dog called Max who went missing yesterday. He has recently started to wander off, after hardly ever venturing from their house and garden. He appears to now have dementia, is almost blind, deaf and a bit wobbly and over 15 years old. He doesn't like rough ground & struggles with hills, so he may try to stick to tarmac and may not have gone up the hill towards Templeton Village. He may have settled into a garage or outhouse as he does sleep a lot. (On Sunday he was found on the Rackenford Road heading towards Loxbeare).

If anyone sees Max please can they call Beth on 07956 779602 or Jerry on 07956 779599 or email [email protected] & they will be over quickly.

A big thank you to everyone who came and supported Templeton Village Fete on Saturday. It was a great community event – definitely dry, warm and sunny. And a big thanks to all the stallholders, and those who prepared the ground, provided delicious food and drink, and donated so much! As a result, we raised a grand total of £1,261.45 towards village funds. Here are some photos taken by Sara just before the fete opened!

Has anyone seen Bobby the cat? Bobby now has a loving, new home in the village but unfortunately, she has made off and may be heading back in the direction of Thornes Farm, Middle North Combe. Bobby is a timid grey / tabby. If you see her, please could you message Bindy? 🐾🐾🐾🐾 Thank you very much.
