🚻 A temporary toilet has finally been installed beside a popular Tiverton paddling pool after the park’s permanent facilities remained shut for years

The Portaloo at Westexe Recreation Ground is intended to make life easier for families while work continues towards reopening the old toilet block and potentially building brand-new facilities.

Today LIFT Councillors Jason Lejeune, Christopher Berry and Steve Bush went on a Chapter 8 Signing, Lighting and Guarding (SLG) training course and have all passed🎉
In the test Chris got 20/20‼️

They also participated in a practical assessment about how to safely close a road for works. They are now qualified to apply for road closures and if the town council wants to join the road warden scheme (to fill potholes, clear overgrown verges and clean street signs) they are now qualified to do this and organise / supervise volunteers to do this 😁
