Well today we waved goodbye to one of the best 😢
Heather has decided to move on to pastures new after 17 years!
She was fast, organised & strong (we don’t call her Muscles for nothing) and there was always a laugh to be had - unless we hadn’t got the mail bags ready on time for her! She was really scary on those occasions 🤣
She’s been the backbone of the operations for a loooong time , Royal Mail really have no idea what they’ve just lost 🤦🏻‍♀️
To say we’re gutted is an understatement! But don’t worry Heather, we’ll carry on sending the work memes to you 🤪😁

Just a wee reminder that the Post Office and Royal Mail are separate organisations.

We know many of you are frustrated with ongoing delivery issues due to staffing shortages, but these are outwith the control of our Post Office team.

Our staff are here to help and support the community, and we deserve to be treated with respect. We will not tolerate rudeness or abusive behaviour.
