Tonbridge Conservatives

11/10/2026

If you were inspired by Kemi Badenoch's speech at the Conservative Party Conference and would like to help rebuild the Conservative Party in Kent, we'd love to hear from you.

We need new members, new helpers and new community champions who would like to stand as local councillors.

Tom Tugendhat has been re-adopted as the Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Tonbridge, Edenbridge and the North Downs Villages.

Tom has been a strong voice for our communities, a tireless campaigner for local residents, and a dedicated representative for our area since first being elected to Parliament.

On his re-adoption, Tom said:

"It is a pleasure to be re-adopted as the Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Tonbridge, Edenbridge and the North Downs Villages. We are seeing real challenges facing our country, from national security and defence to the economy. Labour is failing nationally, and we are already seeing the consequences of Reform's administration in Kent. Too much is at stake.

The Conservative Party must be ready to earn the trust of voters and win the next General Election. To do that, we need people who care about our country and our local communities to get involved. Whether you can spare a few hours to campaign, want to attend events, help shape policy, or simply support our values, I would encourage you to join the Conservative Party today and become part of our team."

🚗🕳️ The state of our roads is simply unacceptable.

Residents across Kent are fed up with crumbling road surfaces, dangerous potholes, and repeated temporary fixes that just don’t last.

Our roads should be fit for purpose.

That’s why we’ve launched FillKentPotholes.com a county-wide campaign calling on Kent County Council to take urgent, coordinated action and properly fix our roads.

This petition will be delivered to Kent County Council in the Spring, so please share with friends.
