Blessings in Disguise Blessings in Disguise is a UK based not-for-profit charity organisation created to enrich the lives of disadvantaged children and their carers.

Blessing in Disguise’ was established in 2013 in Lancashire and initially operated from a small donated office in a outbuilding with minimal overheads. After 2 years, we finally have our own office and proper desks. Blessing in Disguise is not-for-profit organisation and a registered children's charity with the emphasis on creating a positive focus on enabling freedom to enjoy treasured memories

to share with family and loved ones and providing a range of life enhancing experiences and helping to improve the quality of life for the families and carers of disabled, disadvantaged and terminally ill children and young people. Socially responsible organisation helping and supporting via a free service providing themed breaks, planned activities and promote and provide social and recreational opportunities for the whole family. Through personal experience, we know that it can often be difficult on other family members, who perhaps unfortunately miss out due to concentrated focus on the disabled or child or young person with a life-limiting illness and we will endeavor to encourage them to reach their potential.

🎡 Our VIP Fun Fair is back! 🎡💙

We're so excited to once again be partnering with A L Silcocks Fun Fair to bring a special morning of fun exclusively for our registered Blessing in Disguise families.

This event has been specially designed for families who have a child with a disability or life-limiting illness, providing a calmer and more inclusive fun fair experience. Music is turned down, lights are kept to a minimum, rides are slowed down, and they can be stopped at any point if needed.

🎟️ Tickets are by request only, and this event is not open to the general public.

⚠️ Please note: To request tickets, you must have a completed and up-to-date 2026 GDPR form on file with us. Families who have already returned their 2026 GDPR form will be given first priority when tickets are allocated.

Wristbands are £2 each and are available exclusively to families registered with Blessing in Disguise.

⏳ Please be patient when waiting for a reply, as we expect to be inundated with messages.

🚫 Facebook posts and comments will not be monitored, so please do not request tickets in the comment section.

On Saturday, 1st August 2026 , Reece soared across The Brick Community Stadium in Wigan as he took on The Ultimate Zip Wire Challenge, hosted by Wigan Warriors Community Foundation and Wigan Athletic Community Trust.
This incredible and daring challenge helped raise vital funds for Blessing in Disguise, enabling us to continue supporting the children, young people and families who rely on our services.
A huge congratulations to Reece on his amazing achievement, and a big thank you to everyone who supported him through sponsorship and donations. Your generosity makes a real difference.
