Is Torbay Council the only local Authority in Britain to preside over Housing a kin to the Victorian era?
Neither the Tory or Lib Dem Coalition Councils have had the conscience or where with all to properly regulate local private Landlords and Letting Agents in charge of these Dickensian dwellings. Torbay Council sold their housing stock so the private sector has them over a barrel, making a fortune from the Housing Benefits paid to challenging and desperate people.

Those responsible for mistakes and cover ups in the infected blood inquiry and Post Office scandal must be identified publicly. They must be stripped of any honours, heavily fined, with money going to help the people they harmed, properly charged and sentenced if criminal offences occurred. Apologies are simply words. Everyone should be accountable for their deeds. Well paid Executives hiding inside big organisations must not be protected by a corrupt system.
