Torbay's Conservative-run Council are disposing of their lease of the land at Barton Downs. The buyer is a mystery at the moment, and there is no word about whether dog walking or just children playing on the land will be allowed.

If you want to share your views about whether the Council should dispose of it, please email [email protected]

Torbay Council have announced they are cancelling September's full Council meeting because there is 'no business.' How can there be no business when we have a housing crisis, the high street is in crisis, and there is a crisis in SEND services for our most vulnerable children?

The Conservative run Council have also blocked Liberal Democrat Councillors from holding them to account at this meeting.

Potholes on the Milber back road have been filled in, thanks to Torbay Councillor Swithin Long and Councillor Dan Thomas from Devon County Council.
