It’s that time of year folks, when our ever-popular, exceptional value family photoshoot session is back in town. We’ve teamed up with the fabulous Brynn Embley Photography to bring you:
📷A 10 minute family photoshoot in the woods
🌳 Some lovely set ups for you to choose or with nature as your backdrop
🍃1.5 hours of forest school stay and play
🖼️ One digital image of your choice included in the price
😱Additional images at only £9 each
🤩All for just £16 for the whole family - whoever you can fit in your car!
🗓️ Saturday 19th September, between 1pm and 4pm.
Choose your ten-minute slot then decide when you’d like to enjoy the forest school around that time. ONLY 12 SPACES AVAILABLE!

Did you know we host birthday parties for children aged 2-5 years? Our packages start from £145 and include:
🍃 2 hrs play in the forest school for up to 20 children
🌭 Set up of either your own food or our hot dog meal option at £3.50 per child
🔥 £15 to add on the firepit and s’mores

👶 Reasons to come to Seedlings Baby and Toddler Group or 🍄Wildlings play sessions:
🍃 It’s outdoors under the trees and come rain or shine, it’s always great to get your kids outside (but we do put the cover up over the mats if it’s raining)
💬 You get to chat, and we all know how essential chat is for our sanity! Whether it’s sharing birth stories, despairing over lost sleep, laughing at the ridiculousness of these little humans, crying for reasons you can’t explain, comparing purchases on vinted or desperately trying to have a conversation that isn’t about children, we’re here for the chat!
🫂 Make friends! All that chat has to lead somewhere. We’ve made some wonderful friends from our sessions and we know lots of you have too.
🍰 Every adult gets cake (millionaires flapjack is the current fave)
☕️ Every adult gets a hot drink (our coffee is pretty delicious if we do say so ourselves)
🛝 Babies can play with the toys on the mats or stare up at the trees or sleep on a cushion, toddlers (and older children at 🍄Wildlings) can explore the forest school, visiting the mud kitchen, sand pit, treehouse, slide and more.

EDIT: Thank you so much for all your responses. It’s so helpful to know what you’d like to see more of. We’ve scheduled a photography session with the lovely Brynn Embley Photography for September 19th - you can book it here: www.bookwhen.com/saplingsinthewood - and we’re planning a hot dogs and s’mores for mid October followed by another at the beginning of November that will incorporate bonfire night 🔥 We love the idea of cheflings and some of the other pop ups and we’ll get another StoryBears and Sniplings booked in soon (not to mention Christmas 🤫)

🤔OPINIONS PLEASE! In addition to our three regular sessions (🍃Forest School, 👶Seedlings and 🍄Wildlings), we also host some awesome pop ups and collaborations:
📸 Snaplings in the Wood - beautiful family photoshoot set in nature
✂️ Sniplings in the Wood - we run a forest school session and a lovely hairdresser cuts your little one’s hair during the session
🐻 Story Bears at Saplings - the lovely Clare brings her wonderful story and music sessions to the woods.
🌭 Hot Dogs and S’mores family session - we host a forest school session at the weekend and everyone gets hot dogs and s’mores.

What a fabulous crop of blackberries this year! If you’re planning on coming to Seedlings Baby and Toddler Group or Wildlings Play Sessions this September, I’d imagine blackberries will feature on the cake menu! This blackberry and raspberry cake was much appreciated by the family! Remember, all adults get a hot drink and a slice of cake at our Seedlings and Wildlings sessions. It absolutely means the world to us that people want to spend their time in our little slice of paradise and we are so very very grateful to you for all your support.
