With less than six weeks to go, we are still looking for a couple of volunteers to help us at this year's SUP The Creek, in particular on Sunday 4 October.

Volunteering is a fantastic way to support the paddler community and a really rewarding experience.

If you are able to help, please drop us a PM!

Volunteering at an event is a very rewarding experience and allows you to be in the middle of the action supporting paddlers. We have general marshal, registration and results roles available.

If you are available for either or both and are interested, please email: [email protected] for further information.

At this year’s event Louise Freebury had her paddle stolen, the first time anything like this has happened before.

Thank you to the kind generosity of the paddler community she now has a new paddle!

Fantastic photo opportunity with some of our sponsors. It's rare for us to be around when Peter Allen of Blackfish Paddles is in the UK. But to have Louise Freebury of Bio Mate and Mark Short of Shoretees Boardwear all together at the same beach..

That beach happened to be the fantastic English riviera at Torquay for the ICF SUP world cup.

To top it off for those that aren't aware our good friend Louise had her paddle stolen/taken earlier this year. Whilst at another very well known race in the Devon area. Louise was working at the event and during the day was more than likely distracted by others whilst it was taken. For those fortunate to know Louise she is one of those people that gives so much more than she gets out of it.

I've always known the Sup community and I do mean community looks out for each other. To that end at our last Pump n Paddle race we asked for any donations that we could muster to be able to at least try and help her out with a few quid to help buy another paddle.

Due now to the generosity of Peter Allen of Blackfish paddles for coming to our aid and the paddlers and organisers of pump n paddle. For the cash raised we today presented Louise with a new Blackfish Crozon 500 carbon Paddle.

This community is just fantastic let's never stop doing what we do

Louise from Bio Mate is still looking for her paddle that was lost at this year’s event.

If you are able to help please get in touch.

Still in the sheer hope that it was taken by mistake, I’m making another plea for anyone at the , who was packing away at the end of the day near the Bio Mate stand, to please check if they have picked up a Synergy one piece paddle with medium blade and shaft, and with a number 33 written on a piece of masking tape just under the handle.

It was propped up at the back of the bio mate gazebo on the side and there was so many people packing up all around it could easily have been picked up by mistake.

It was definitely there when the presentations were taking place but had disappeared a short time later.

We are a tiny business and to lose a valuable paddle is pretty awful so I’m really hoping it turns up. Please get in touch with us, or Black Project if it does 🙏

Many thanks ☺️
