The love of Venus...
We are great lovers of the H**p plant; so much a part of our history, and so much a part of our future. Our project, as h**p growers and producers, is dedicated to encouraging and inspiring others to grow themselves, and to establish a viable market in the UK for h**p products. Most h**p products widely available are currently shipped in from China. We are working to help change this. H**p is good for the planet and us as humans - this plant has a multitude of uses which do no harm.
Last year in 2018 we grew a large 20 acre field of h**p on the beautiful Dartington Estate in Devon, and a smaller area on the family farm in a pristine valley in rural Portugal. Such a wonderful experience which we shared with many others who came to help and work with the plant. This year we are increasing our UK acreage to 30 acres, which we will harvest for seed to make oil and other delectable h**p products, as well as stalk for building materials. Excitingly our field for 2019 will have a multi crop of h**p, apple trees and elderberry trees, all in the Organic and Biodynamic certification processes.
