We have been unable to collect recycling from some roads in the Yealmpton area today due to unplanned gas works.

Please leave your recycling out and we will aim to return and collect it within the next 48 hours.

The roads affected are:

♻️ Hillside Drive
♻️ Hillside Way
♻️ Ploughman Way
♻️ Rockdale Road
♻️ The Orchard

To keep everyone moving, here's a quick reminder of when our last ferry leaves.

⏲️ Last ferry from Dartmouth leaves at 10:55 p.m.

🛥️ We have strict capacity numbers and it will be very busy.

⏳ Allow plenty of time to get home.

Torcross Tank car park closure

The Torcross Tank car park will be closed from Monday 7 September 2026 until June 2027 while the Environment Agency carries out essential works to the Torcross sea defences.

We appreciate this may cause inconvenience and thank residents, businesses and visitors for their patience while these important works take place.

Alternative parking will remain available at:

✔️ Strete Gate Car Park
✔️ Slapton Memorial Car Park
✔️ Torcross Layby
