🎉 Congratulations to Tadpool! 🏆💦

Thanks to their fundraising efforts, Totnes Swimming Pool now has a giant Commando Run inflatable - and Tadpool are hosting FREE Family Fun Inflatable Days this Bank Holiday Monday! 🥳

🕚 11am – 11.45am

Share Shed - A Library of Things is in Totnes Market Square every Thursday between 1:30pm - 4:30pm. 👍

With over 350 items to borrow, Share Shed is a great first port of call next time you need to borrow a gazebo, pressure washer or trestle table... plus hundreds more items! 🎪💦

Join a FREE Totnes Wellbeing Walk! 💚🌳

Brought to you by Active Devon attendees are just asked to bring enough money for the bus when travel is part of the walks and for a refreshment, if they so wish.

Walks are delivered by trained volunteer walk leaders, and graded by level 1-3. Click through our photos for more details!

300 hidden books - and only 5 photos sent in of books that have been found 🥲📚

The Summer Book Hunt is such a wonderful gift to the young people of Totnes - if you found a book do send Books by the River a photo to help inspire them to keep going!

Receiving this photo really made my afternoon along with her parents' comment too.

Over 300 books have been hidden so far this year which is amazing. However, I have only heard from 5 families.

Sharing that you have found one doesn't necessarily mean a full photo of your child with the book. Maybe the place you found it, the front cover of the book or just a message to share the reaction of your children when they found the book.

It would really mean alot to us to hear more from the families finding the books and it definitely helps keep our energy up whilst book hiding in this sweltering heat 🥵

South Devon MP Caroline Voaden is bringing her Summer Surgery Tour back to Totnes this year. 🗣️

She’ll be in Totnes this Wednesday 19th August, giving local residents the opportunity to come along for a chat, raise any concerns and discuss issues that matter to them. 2 locations and times! 👍🏻

South Hams District Council has announced that repair works are beginning on Totnes Market Square to repair its cobbled surface. The works also include the installation of pop-up bollards, beginning the week of 17th August. 👷

Traders will continue to have normal access, but cars will no longer be able to enter the square from the High Street, to help protect the cobbled surface from further damage.

Totnes Town Council has unanimously rejected the Government’s current proposals for Local Government Reorganisation in Devon.

The Council is particularly concerned about the proposed boundary that would divide the Bridgetown community between two unitary authorities.
