This will be a 'swan song' for Arts Development Officer Sue Carverhill, a member of the choir, who retires from the council on Friday 28 April. Come and say 'goodbye' and enjoy some lovely songs.

Do you like stitching or crafting with textiles? Stitching Kitchen in Brackley has a special project starting this evening, Monday 17 April, 7 - 9pm. People are invited to create a piece of collective textile art on the theme of costumes and ceremonies at the Paralympics. Introductory talk on 17 April and a Paralympian on 24 April; the art project day will be on Saturday 3 June. Register interest in the project online. Call Hannah on 01280 811602 for more information. Three excellent soloists join Towcester Choral Society and an orchestra for their performance of Haydn's wonderful 'Creation', Claire Turner (soprano), Dominic Bevan (tenor) and Edward Price (baritone). Saturday 15th April.

How often do you get see see a full orchestra and choir performing in Towcester, set in the fabulous historic church of St Lawrence and you even get a glass of wine and snacks thrown in for £15 and HALF PRICE for children! Saturday 15 April 7.30pm Wonderful experience for students if they are learning to play an instrument.
