1 - 7 June is Volunteers’ Week!

Did you know Trefriw Community Councillors - who all live in Trefriw and Llanrhychwyn - carry out many of their council activities on a voluntary basis?

We are brilliantly supported by our part-time Clerk and a number of other community volunteers.

Our role is to represent the interests of residents - our neighbours - with bodies such as CCBC, Welsh government and Eryri National Park. We also maintain and manage Trefriw village hall, the cemetery, and the playing fields.

Conwy County Borough Council has launched a public consultation on the proposed Visitor Levy, and they want to hear from residents, businesses and community organisations.

Bydd gwaith coedwigaeth yn digwydd ger Gwydir Uchaf o ganol mis Ebrill hyd fis Medi 2026 🚧

Mae’r gwaith yn rhan o rhaglen deneuo’r goedwig yn flynyddol ac yn cynnwys torri coed llarwydd sydd wedi’u heintio gan Phytophthora ramorum, clirio coed oedd wedi’i niweidio yn ystod y stormydd diweddar, a theneuo rhywogaethau eraill o goniffer yn unol â’r Cynllun Dylunio Coedwig.
