🏠❄️ Tips for Tenants - Keep Warm in Winter ❄️🏠

️⃣ Make sure to seal any gaps or cracks around windows, doors, and vents to prevent cold drafts from entering your home.

️⃣ Cover your windows with heavy curtains or thermal blinds to provide an extra layer of insulation and help to keep the cold air out and the warmth in.

️⃣ Place draft stoppers at the bottom of your exterior doors to prevent chilly drafts from sneaking in, keeping the warmth inside.

️⃣ To maximise the efficiency of your heating system, keep doors and windows closed when the heat is on and ensure air vents are unobstructed.

️⃣ If you rely on portable heaters, ensure they're used safely and never leave them unattended. Place away from flammable materials and follow the manufacturer's instructions.

️⃣ Adding an extra layer of clothing and cosy blankets can help you stay warm without cranking up the heat unnecessarily.

️⃣ While it's important to keep your home warm, it's equally crucial to maintain proper ventilation to prevent mold or mildew. Open windows for a short time each day to allow fresh air to circulate.

️⃣ If you're experiencing persistent issues with heating or insulation, communicate with your landlord or letting agent to ensure necessary repairs are made.
