Can you help us? 🐺

Our resident Walter Rothschild donation box, now located close to the Rothschild room, has been in the museum (we think) since the 90s. Yesterday the lighting was fixed, with a bulb no longer easily available, and it has sparked conversation amongst museum staff! We have varying accounts and want to know more about the history of where it came from, who made it, and when it arrived!

Do you know? Do you have any memories of it yourself?

We hope you enjoyed this peek inside as much as we did!! 🪿

Can you hear that? 🎶
Spring is peak season for birdsong, as birds defend territory and attract mates.

Those early morning choruses are one of the clearest signs that spring has arrived.
