🎉 A fantastic result in Milford!

Huge congratulations to Mac Brown and Lawrence Gillies on their brilliant by-election victories yesterday in Salisbury! 🔶

We look forward to working with you both on Wiltshire Council and Salisbury City Council respectively, continuing to deliver positive change for our communities.

A sincere well done to the all candidates who stood in these elections, campaigned hard and put themselves forward to represent their communities. Democracy is stronger when people are willing to get involved and stand up for what they believe in.

Most importantly, thank you to the residents of Milford for putting their trust in the Liberal Democrats and showing that they want to keep Wiltshire moving forward.

Here’s to building on that positive momentum! 🔶

Great news for Trowbridge and Wiltshire!

YOUR BUDGET, YOUR COUNCIL

Today the first ever Liberal Democrat budget passed at Wiltshire Council. Thank you to everyone who consulted, spoke to or participated in the setting of this budget.

23/02/2026

Our Liberal Democrat budget puts learning and opportunity at the heart of Wiltshire’s future.

On the day the Government releases its White Paper on SEND, we want you to know what we are doing to support young people here in Wiltshire.

We’re investing £41 million in education and skills, including SEND, Early Years and our schools. This matters more than ever because Wiltshire is one of the lowest-funded local authorities in England for the High Needs Block.

This funding strengthens support for children who need it most and helps every young person to thrive.

Investing in every child’s future. 📚✨

Our Liberal Democrat budget puts Wiltshire’s environment first.

We’re investing £62 million into waste services, public protection and nature recovery, strengthening the work that keeps our county clean, safe and thriving.

From restoring habitats to improving recycling and protecting our natural spaces, this is a budget that looks after the Wiltshire we love.

Investing to protect and restore our environment. 🌿♻️
