🌙☀️Solar Eclipse ! ☀️🌙

Today, our children have been talking all about the solar eclipse happening tonight! 🌌✨ We’ve been learning about what an eclipse is and, most importantly, how we can enjoy this amazing event while keeping our eyes safe. 👀We have also been creating our own special eclipse using black card and chalk! 💗

If you’re planning to watch the eclipse tonight, please never look directly at the Sun without proper eclipse-safe glasses.

💡 No eclipse glasses? Here’s a little tip:
Turn your back to the Sun, put your phone on selfie mode, and use your phone screen to view the eclipse rather than looking directly at the Sun. 📱🌙

🌈 FREE CLOTHES SWAP IN RECEPTION! 👕👗

We’re delighted to have a FREE Clothes Swap available in Reception for all our families! 💕 The idea is simple — if you see something you like, please feel free to take it. If you have clothes that are no longer needed, we’d be very, very grateful for any donations to help keep our little clothes swap going. 🥰

At the moment, we’re a little boy-heavy, so we’d especially love any donations of girls’ clothes to help us keep a lovely mix for everyone. 💗

A little reminder to help us keep everything tidy: please make sure donated clothes are clean, good quality and ready for someone else to enjoy. And when having a browse, please leave everything neat and tidy for the next person. 🧺✨

Perfect if you are looking for something that works around school!

KITCHEN ASSISTANT

🥦 Monday - Friday
🥕 11am - 3pm

You'll work closely with the Trowbridge kitchen team, who prepare and deliver food each day to Melksham. You'll help serve up, prepare snacks and tea while keeping the kitchen sparkling ✨️

🍇 Experience preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.

CLEANER

🧼 Monday - Friday
🧹 2x hours per evening

Cleaning must be done between the hours of 6pm - 10pm each evening. There is some flexibility to when you choose to start.

Role will involve general cleaning throughout the nursery, hoovering and toilets.

What a fantastic time we had celebrating our Preschool Graduation Party on Saturday! 🏴‍☠️👑
Our Pirates and Princesses had an amazing day filled with smiles, laughter and lots of fun. We played games, danced our hearts out, decorated delicious cakes, had glitter tattoos, made beautiful crowns and enjoyed yummy ice creams before finishing the day with our very special graduation ceremony. 🎓✨
We are so incredibly proud of each and every one of our graduates and all they have achieved during their time with us. As they prepare to embark on their next big adventure at school, we want to wish them all the very best. We know they will shine brightly and make so many wonderful memories.
We will miss them all so much, but we can't wait to hear all about their new school adventures and see them looking so smart in their school uniforms! ❤️
For many of our children, it's not goodbye just yet as we'll still be spending the summer together, making even more happy memories before September arrives.
Congratulations to all of our wonderful graduates – keep dreaming big, keep smiling, and never stop believing in yourselves. We are so proud of you all! 🎓💙

What a fantastic way to cool down in the sunshine! ☀️💦

This morning, the children had lots of fun taking part in a water fight, splashing their friends and enjoying some refreshing outdoor play. There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and squeals of excitement as everyone joined in the fun while staying cool in the warm weather.

Outdoor water play is a wonderful way for children to stay active, develop their coordination, and make happy memories with their friends.

💙 Happy Father's Day! 💙

We loved welcoming all our wonderful dads, grandads, and special father figures to our Father's Day Breakfast this morning! 🥐☕🍓

It was a lovely opportunity for the children to spend quality time with their loved ones, sharing breakfast, smiles, and special memories together. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the morning so special.

🌊🐠 World Ocean Day at Nursery 🐢💙

Last week we celebrated World Ocean Day by learning about the amazing creatures that live beneath the waves and how we can help protect our oceans. The children enjoyed ocean-themed activities, creative crafts, sensory play, and discovering the importance of keeping our seas clean.

Through stories, discussions, and hands-on learning, our little explorers learned that even small actions can make a big difference in caring for our planet.
